Thank you for taking the time to write to us at Newman's Own.
All
of our products are labeled in compliance with FDA regulations
concerning food allergens. The manufacturing plants where our products
are produced all have Allergen Management Programs which involve
employee training, proper storage and labeling of ingredients containing
allergens, scheduling production of products without allergens before
production of products with allergens and rigorous sanitation and
testing procedures for the manufacturing equipment between production of
different products.
With respect to pasta sauces, there are currently no peanuts or tree nuts in our manufacturing facilities. With respect to salad dressing, there are no peanuts in the facilities, but there are tree nuts both in the plant as well as on shared production equipment.
